Miscellaneous Photos - August 2003 (Anchorage)
Rays of light appear in the sky opposite the direction of sunrise. Such rays are called anti-solar rays or anticrepuscular rays. Despite appearances, these rays are actually parallel to each other - the apparent convergence is simply an illusion.
