Day 7 (May 23, 1999) - Wildlife

Sea Otters
A pair of sea otters vacate the area.

The sound is usually a good place for wildlife viewing, especially for whales. However, like our day in Glacier Bay, wildlife was to prove scarce today. Only a few seals, sea otters and a lone bald eagle were seen during the day, and only while in College Fjord. The seals were only visible with binoculars.
