Salon Retreat 2005 - Getting There

I believe this is the Portage Glacier area at the tip of Turnagain Arm. The lake where Portage Glacier is located is just off the top of the picture - the creek drains the lake. At the mouth of the creek, you might be able to make out the Seward Highway and the Alaska Railroad bridges as they cross the creek.
