My Neighborhood

The first of many pictures of Mt Rainier that I took today. The ability to see Rainier improved throughout the morning, but never really got very good. By mid-afternoon, clouds had moved in to the Rainier side of the sky, completely obscuring the mountain. This is an early morning shot taken from my neighborhood. There is a lot of frost on the ground, though it's difficult to see.

The very same picture, but this time I've edited the image to remove the telephone lines. That's a pretty tedious task, but something that might be worthwhile.
